Rob began his working life with 11 years in the Royal Marines, before changing direction and joining North Wales Police. During an interesting 27-year police career, Rob excelled in armed policing, being a Firearms Commander, Tactical Advisor and Firearms and Personal Safety Trainer. The latter part of his career saw him move into a highly specialised area of Counter Terrorism.
Upon retirement Rob joined a Local Authority, firstly, as the Security Advisor and then the Town Centre Manager for Chester helping effectively deliver the Covid Recovery Plan. Rob achieved a Chartership with the Security Professionals (CSyP) and delivers law and personal safety training to corporate clients. Now, in conjunction with Sonar Engagement, Rob is bringing his inimitable mix of skills to provide Public Liaison and Social Values solutions to the construction industry.
